officially my fav piss colored midwestern beer

a wheat beer nearing perfection from New Belgium, the makers of Fat Tire

also from my guys in Colorado at New Belgium, this citrus-y seasonal beer can be harder to find but is worth the search

much maligned, you would have to have a heart of stone not enjoy this beer when the temp tops 100- pretend you are drinking mineral water with lime, since that's about as aggressive as this beer is on the palate

the classic Belgian white beer- a witbier, actually- perfect with a slice of lemon

their white beer is probably the easiest to find and also their best on a sweaty day

also great with a slice of lemon or orange, from the Coors company

deliciously sour this beer is light on the palate and great in the afternoon

a dark wheat beer, edging into fall territory with its chestnut coloring and clove flavors

a german hefe with a big head, so good it's making me want to leave work for the day

Belgian witbier that I could drink all day- don't try to find the brewery, even in Namur no one knows where it is

a smooth Belgian style witbier coming from Portland, Maine

the new name for the old Pyramid Hefe which has a brewery within walking distance of my old workplace; this is a totally solid American beer in the Belgian style

higher in alcohol content, the blond ale is like a souped up pilsner

not many breweries make beer in the saison style, but this one is a gem; don't be put off by the chewiness- the unruly, clumpy yeast is part of the charm

...another one from the people on the farm at Dupont... mmmmmmmmm...
